Chemical Stripping
Bring new life to your tired looking, beautifully crafted pieces. If shabby is not sheik to you, we may be able to help you get more enjoyment out of those treasured finds. This old dresser survived a house fire and the elements before it was rescued. After repairing some structural issues, it was refinished and altered to accommodate plumbing and become an elegant bathroom centerpiece. We then used salvaged oak to manufacture the mirror frame to compliment the antique feel of the dresser.

White Wash
This finish technique adds a light, casual feel to your furniture or cabinets, while allowing the natural wood grain to show through.

Pickling
The outcome of this process is a more transparent look than white washing and is quite fashionable. This process should only be applied to open pored raw wood, such as oak or ash.

Faux Burl Wood
This unique finish can be applied to almost any hard surface. Arndt’s Custom Painting customized an old door to create this interesting raised paneled head board. It was then finished to mimic the look of burl wood to create a beautiful conversation piece.

Trash to Treasure
This is one of the things we most love to do. This beveled, leaded glass window was saved from a home that was to be destroyed. The mission styled dowel rods were added to coordinate with the existing night stands. Securing it to the wall with the illusion of being suspended from chains adds rugged appeal. We even finished the chains to match the motif of the room.
